According to a report from IT Home on March 19th, leaked photos of DJI’s Avata 2 cross-over drone and DJI Goggles 3 flight goggles have surfaced. Additionally, the DJI website has exposed scanned files of the Avata 2 drone’s registration stickers, and claimed that this drone is expected to be released as early as April.
As per previous reports, compared to the original Avata cross-over drone, this “second-generation version” has seen improvements in propeller size and power. Although it is claimed to have more powerful motors, it remains unclear whether the Avata 2 has seen any improvements in terms of battery life. The standard hovering endurance of the first-generation DJI Avata drone stands at 18 minutes.
In addition to the Avata 2 drone itself, the DJI website has also unveiled registration stickers for the “FPV Remote Controller 3 (DJI FPV Remote Controller 3)” and “RC Motion 3 (Cross-over Joystick 3)” accessories. According to the displayed information, these controllers are all equipped with 2600mAh batteries.
These revelations suggest that the release of the Avata 2 will be a highly anticipated event in the drone industry. We look forward to learning more about the Avata 2 and its accompanying products in April, and await its official release.
STARTRC will continue to provide updates on peripheral accessories for the DJI Avata 2. Stay tuned!
